Skye started practising Clinical Pilates in 2015 to correct issues in her body from working in Retail for 20 years. Within a few months she decided to make a career change after seeing the benefits to her wellbeing and desired to help others discover the same.
Believing that Mat Pilates was fundamental to Pilates practice she completed her Certificate in Matwork with Polestar International Pilates Education in 2016 then continued to further her knowledge by achieving her Diploma of Studio Pilates in 2018.
Her dance background led her then to become certified in Barre. Over the last several years she has continued to learn more about movement and correcting specifics conditions in the body, like Scoliosis & Shoulder Pathologies, to help more people have healthy and functional well-being.
Also gaining additional certification in specific apparatus and different movement patterns: Oov education, @FRC – Functional Range Conditioning and in the process of becoming certified in Functional Patterns by the end of 2024.
Skye’s ultimate joy is seeing her clients gain results no matter how small or big, becoming aware of what their bodies are capable of regardless of their age or limitations.
